We cannot believe how quickly the first term in Year 2 has zoomed by. The children have gone from strength to strength in their learning across the curriculum and it feels like we have accomplished so much during the time we have had together so far this year!
We would like to start by saying a massive thank you for all of the donations that have been made for us to be able to make rockets for Beegu this week. The children are SO excited.
We have continued to read and explore the story of Traction Man this week with children rescuing the dolls from Professor Spade and making Traction Man a new outfit.
We have had a very exciting week in Reception with two of our cohort getting married!
We are very grateful to all our wonderful families for the generous food donations we received for our harvest collection.
We welcome volunteers to help in school. Whether you are creative, enjoy playing games, like gardening or are excellent at laminating, we appreciate your support.
Reception Children have been learning the fun and benefits of eating healthily by seeing what goes into our school lunches and making Italian meatballs with tomato and basil sauce; a dish from our future menu!
The Year 2 grown-ups are so impressed with our hard-working, resilient and responsible children.
We have had a very exciting week as Traction Man has happened in Year One!
