It is fundamental that everyone contributes during this very difficult time.
As a school, we share many parents reservations around the children returning. I am working with professionals to have our voice heard.
Please know, our stance is that education is optional for the remainder of this academic year and we will continue to support those who wish to remain at home.

Following The Prime Minister's Announcement tonight there is a lot of clarification that needs to be given to School Leaders.
Key Headline for Schools:
From 1st June - a phased reopening of schools will begin by sending back Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children.
Biggest Challenge:
Social Distancing is very difficult for our very small children. We will be open and transparent with all our parents on how this will look in our school.
Further questions that need to be answered:
Current Year 2 children:
Tomorrow I will be seeking advice from the Local Authority on how transition is expected to work for Year 2 children that are transitioning to Junior Schools. I anticipate that Year 6 children are returning for the transition process, but there must be a recognition that Year 2 children in singular infant schools are going through the same process.

New EYFS Parents for September 2020:
This week I will be seeking advice about how transition is expected to work for the new EYFS children and when guidance will be available.
I will be doing a Live Stream with parents tomorrow evening at 7pm. Any questions you have please be confident to ask them and I will do my best to answer as fully as I can. If you aren't able to ask any questions on the Live Stream please email them directly to and I will address these.
I know that we are entering another period of different 'uncertainty' whilst we await further clarification from the government. Please know I will share any information to our school community as soon as I know.
Healthy wishes to you all. We miss our children and families very much.
