What’s Hot and What’s Not!

Over the forthcoming weeks we will be adding photographs and recipes of the delicious meals we cook at school, so please keep checking our blog!

Hot off the ‘servery’ from Mrs Quinn!

Reception children have settled into lunchtimes impressively well, and have been enjoying sausage and yorkshire puddings, roast dinners and pasta bakes. We found the pasta bake to be a little challenging (I put it down to the combination of tomato and cheese sauce TOGETHER was possibly a little to ambitious!!!!) I have been in discussion with our class teachers and I am planning on having a weekly masterclass  with each reception class on school dinner recipes. This will be a chance for the children to have hands on experience of creating different dishes that are on the school lunch menu. I am also planning on serving the combined dishes, like the chicken and ham pasta bake all separately… I will let you know how the changes go!
