We are delighted to be launching our new Reading Engagement Scheme, ‘Buster’s Book Club’. From Wednesday 24 January, each Wednesday night that your child reads at home, record the total minutes read on the bookmark that is stapled in their Reading Contact Book. We will calculate the total minutes read, total minutes above the target and number of children who have reached their target in each class on Thursday mornings and the winning class will be presented with a trophy for the week. Some weeks there are additional prizes to be won. This week the prize awarded will be free tickets for each child in the winning class for Pirate Adventure Golf at Bluewater (children to be taken by parents/carers during the holidays or at weekends).
