This week in Year One you may have seen some strange and mysterious things happening. First of all on Monday there were some enormous footprints! The children had so many questions to ask and the next day a GIANT poo appeared in our woodland area! We decided to report these mysterious incidents and recorded them in our very own news report! The children have been using question marks and exclamation marks correctly in their writing.

In Maths the children have begun to consider different ways to reach a number by counting up in tens, twos or fives. We have also investigated different ways of counting and solving patterns. Furthermore, we have compared the difference between two numbers.
