Christmas time has arrived and our children have had so much fun already…
Last Friday was our wonderful Christmas lunch, which was gobbled up at world record breaking speed – a HUGE thank you to Mrs Quinn and our talented catering team for cooking us all such a wonderful feast! Following our festive start to December our wonderful choir undertook their debut performance last Friday evening – I am sure all that attended would say how fantastic all the children were! A HUGE thank you to Mrs Lawton and Mrs Jordan for organising the event, we managed to make over £500 for our school!
This week has been a VERY busy time for our children and team, the Christmas Bake Off took the hall by storm today! With wonderful wintry creations laid out to the theme of ‘Winter Wonderland’, ‘Nutcracker’ and ‘Candyland’, the amount raised for our school is being counted over the weekend and our BAKE OFF CHAMPIONS for 2017 will be announced on Monday. On behalf of us all, I would like to thank all the Joydens Wood team who have spent weeks planning and preparing for Bake Off week, it truly was an overwhelming success!
Next week is Enterprise Week and the Christmas Market on Friday 15th December, the competition is back on!… Who will be the winning class with the highest profit? (Any parents who can donate their time throughout the week would be much appreciated!)
