This week the children have been learning about the Jolly Postman and have been writing letters, creating maps and looking at some of the traditional stories in the book.

We are continuing to look at shapes in Maths and you can review what we have learnt on the set tasks on Mathletics.

The next four sounds we have learnt in our phase five phonics are oy, ir, ue (as in glue) and ue (as in clue). The children need to practise reading these words and spotting the digraphs, please see any member of our team if you are unsure about this; they are comprised of two letters that make one sound. Please see the handout given at parents meetings for more information.

We would like to thank you all for your support at the parents meetings; your support and dedication ensures the best for the children.
