Goldilocks and the Three Bears

By 24th November 2017Reception

This week in Reception we have been exploring the traditional tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have loved making their own porridge by measuring the ingredients in the Imaginary Room. Some of the porridge was too hot, some of the porridge was too cold and some was just right! In the Art Studio children have been really excited about making their own bears out of clay to retell the story. Some children have even designed their own cottage using junk modelling resources! Children in the Explorers Room have been writing to Goldilocks herself, asking why she ate the porridge and how did the chair break? In the garden children have loved dressing up as the bears and building their own cottage to roleplay the story!
