Year 2 Leavers Beach Trip

The children in Year 2 will be making an End of Infant School/Leavers trip to Broadstairs on Friday 20^th July 2018.

We have lots of fun activities planned for the day so the children will be kept very busy.  The weather should be nice so if there is time to have a paddle in the sea, we thought the children would like the opportunity to do so. Please ensure your child is dressed in the following attire upon arrival at school:

• Boys – Swimming shorts with a school t-shirt

• Girls—Swimming costume with a school t-shirt and shorts

• A sun hat (preferably with a school logo but not a necessity)

• Appropriate footwear for the beach

• Smothered in sun cream

Your child is to bring their PE bag (which will be sent home on the Thursday) with the following items in:

• Shorts

• Underwear

• A small towel

• A named disposable bottle of water

The coaches will leave school promptly so please can we ask you to arrive no later than 8.45am. We cannot wait for any late arrivals. We will be returning to school at approximately 3.15pm. Please pick your child up from their classroom as usual.

The children do not need to bring a packed lunch as this will be provided by school. This will include a sandwich, biscuit and a piece of fruit.  The cost of the visit is £16.00 for the coach.
