This week we took 56 members of the school choir to sing at the Wilmington Christmas Market that is held in the Wilmington Memorial Hall. The children and their parents/carers had a fantastic time. Their singing was amazing and they filled the hall with Christmas cheer!
This week the children have been busy baking! We have learnt about the design process and how to develop and evaluate different products. We have also written recipes for the items we have made!
Year 1 have finished reading The Jolly Postman. They celebrated by decorating the classroom and holding a party!
This week the children have continued reading, ‘The Jolly Postman’ and we have enjoyed visiting ‘Grandmas’ house!
This week saw us host our very first fussy eater’s workshop. A big thank you to all the parents who attended; we all agreed it was a great success.
This week Year One have continued with our wonderful adventures following the Jolly Postman.
We have lots of exciting events planned for December. The countdown to Christmas begins on 1 December!
This week the children have been learning about the Jolly Postman and have been writing letters, creating maps and looking at some of the traditional stories in the book.
