This week saw the announcement of our Year 2 prefects! Miss Hately is so impressed with the level of maturity, responsibility and resilience that our fantastic Year 2s are showing that we decided to give some of them an official title! It was a very tough choice (in fact we could’ve chosen them all!) but it was lovely to see that many of our new prefects were also Stars of the Week!
The prefects will meet Mrs Chapman weekly to set the week’s planned support. This week they will be asked to:
- Support Reception children with eating their lunch and walking to the playground
- Ensuring the library, learning pods and music room is tidy
- Being at the friendship stop so they are ready to read a book to a friend
If your child is a prefect please ensure they wear their badge every day for the autumn term. If your child has not been successfully chosen – please don’t worry we are already on the look out for the spring!
