This week we were delighted to announce that Maple Class were the winners of the Buster’s Book Club Class of the Week trophy. They had 10 children who read more than their target of 15 minutes and in total Maple Class read for 424 minutes. Well done to Maple Class! They were rewarded with the fantastic prize of free tickets to Adventure Pirate Golf at Bluewater. On Wednesday 7 February there will be the first cross district competition to see which class in the local area reads the most. There will be double the prizes with a free ticket to ‘Leeds Castle’ for each child in the winning class, along with a class visit and story time with ‘Mister Maker’. Don’t forget to read on 31 January and record the minutes on the reading bookmarks ready to be counted on 1 February!
