Walking to School Competition

By 10th January 2018Reception, Year 1, Year 2

As you may know we encourage the children to walk to school as much as possible, by using our walking bus service from the Hayden field or by scooting or cycling to school. Not only is it better for the environment but it is better for the community and the children’s health.

However as an added bonus by walking to school on a Wednesday you could also win prizes for your child’s class! As part of the Walk On Wednesday scheme the following prizes are up for grabs:
Wednesday 7th February – Top or most improved class in each district will win Leeds Castle tickets PLUS one school will win a story-time session with CBeebies Mister Maker!
Wednesday 21st February – Top or most improved class in each district will win Planet Ice ice rink tickets
Wednesday 28th February – One school from the county will win a story-time session with former England Rugby Union Captain, Catherine Spencer!
Wednesday 21st March – Double Challenge  – Top 2 or most improved classes in each district win Revolution Climbing & Skatepark or Pirate Cove Adventure Golf tickets

There is also  a link below to design a new prize badge for Travel Tracker around the theme of Seasons.  Travel Tracker is our way of logging the children’s method of getting to school and each child can earn a new badge each month.

Please print off the entry form, complete the design for a new badge and return to school by Friday 2 March.
