We hope you had a lovely Christmas break! It has been great to be back and the children have settled straight back in to school life! Following on from their interests last week, we have been exploring the traditional tale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The children have loved retelling and acting out the story, including some very scary trolls! In the Art Studio children have been designing their own goats, trolls and bridges out of clay. In the Explorers Room the tables were converted into bridges that were used to write the sounds that the children could hear; as the goats walked over the bridge. In the Imaginary Room we have explored and tested different materials to create the strongest bridge. We also looked at different types of bridges to inspire our own designs!
