In Maths we have covered a range of different challenges which include balancing equations, multiplication, division, telling the time and reasoning about addition. The children have worked hard to choose the most effective way to solve the problems using resources and jottings.
In English we have been reading Charlotte’s Web. This week the children have been creating their own chapter; introducing a new character, using creative language and adverbs. They have worked hard to produce extensive pieces of writing which we are going to publish ready to display in the classrooms.
If you have not yet returned your slip for our upcoming trip to Godstone Farm, please do this as soon as possible. We are just waiting to hear from the coach company how many places we have available to bring parent helpers, then we will let those volunteers know as soon as possible. Thank you!
