This week the children became scientists. They have had the most fantastic time investigating and thinking scientifically. They have carried out an experiment on separating liquids, making predictions about whether the liquids would change colour, whether they would bubble or whether they would combine together… ask your children the outcome of that investigation…
On Monday the children had the opportunity to take part in a Forensic Science Workshop where they investigated a crime scene using magnifying glasses and evidence bags. The children had to look at finger prints, foot prints and DNA to work out who the criminal was! It was brilliant.
They have also carried out an eggs-periment watching eggs in different liquids over time! Can you think of any other liquids to put an egg in and see what happens?
