We have added new number rhyme resources to our provision which the children have been using to perform simple addition and subtraction sums all through the use of sausages, monkeys, chickens and frogs!
We’ve had some fantastic models built this week using our large range of blocks and loose parts. The children have astounded us with their creativity and imaginative ideas. This has continued out into the garden where our large blocks and loose parts have been turned into a camp, a castle, a bungalow and even a swimming pool!
The children love our story circles which we hold weekly. They individually tell or write stories which are then acted out alongside their friends. This has become extremely popular and we have even begun making our own books as a result!
