We have been learning about the life cycle of frogs and the children have been able to observe this in real life. They have had the opportunity to look through information books to find out important facts about taking care of tadpoles and frogs. This enabled the children to develop their knowledge of the wide variety of frogs that live around the world and what they like to eat.
We have been extremely fortunate as Cedar class parents have kindly made a monetary donation towards the development of our growing area! This has allowed the children to plant their seedlings in the vegetable patch. Some examples are strawberry plants, beans, radishes and peppers.
We really appreciate the monetary donation; however, any donation of garden equipment such as stepping stones, seeds, plants etc. This also includes any art resources that you may want to donate such as bottle lids, buttons, boxes etc.
Thank you ever so much for all your continuous support and hope to see you soon at our stay and play sessions which are starting again next week!
