We’ve had yet another thrilling week in Reception. After we enjoyed our week of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the children wanted to find out more information about bears.
We explored non-fiction texts which featured different types of bears, their habitats and their diet! In the Imaginary Room, children measured the ingredients needed to make playdough so they could make their own bear biscuits.
In the Explorers Room, children created their own information books about all the facts they’ve learnt about bears.
Finally, in the Art Studio, children moulded clay to create different habitats. This led onto children sculpting bears of all sizes and shapes!
