Sports Day and Big Summer BBQ
6th July 2018 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
We will be sending home your child’s PE kit so that it is clean and ready for Sports Day (please check that plimsolls fit). On the day, please send your child to school wearing their PE kit, no book bags or uniform is needed but every child must wear a sun hat, have sun cream applied, and bring in a full named water bottle. Please note, after Sports Day the children will not need their kits back in school and you may keep them at home until the new academic year.
The outline for Sports Day is as follows:
Parents can turn up from 12.30pm (Wood Close and Park Way only) limited seats will be available; parents are encouraged to bring picnic blankets etc.
Summer BBQ, refreshments and ice creams will be available from 12.30pm. You may purchase food tokens for the BBQ from the PTA in the school playground daily from 3.00pm from Wednesday 27th June. However food will be available to buy on the day should you wish.
1st race starts at 1.15pm.
Awards ceremony to follow the last race. Once Sports Day finishes parents/carers may collect their children from the classrooms as normal.
THE BBQ AND REFRESHMENTS WILL CONTINUE AFTER SCHOOL, JUNIOR SCHOOL FAMILIES ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO JOIN US.
