Beech Class trip to Bough Beech Reserve

Beech Class children are visiting Bough Beech Reserve and Education Centre on Tuesday 26th June.
The cost of the trip will be £8.00 per child. You are able to pay via ParentMail, however, please ensure that permission slips are also returned.
We are lucky to be involved with a new project with Bough Beech Education Centre, and a photographer may be present on the day, taking photographs of activities to be used in Kent Wildlife Trust promotional materials in the format of: educational brochures and printed literature, non-identifiable social media (e.g. a hand holding an insect), and their secure website images to help promote education programmes and activities. Please confirm whether your child can be included in these photographs on the reply slip. You will have an opportunity to view the photographs and give further consent before the images are used – after the event.
Your child will need to wear their school polo shirt and school logo jumper. All children will need to wear long trousers such as leggings or jogging bottoms and welly boots due to insects and long grass at the reserve. They will need a raincoat or sun hat, depending on the weather. Please be sure to apply sun cream before they arrive at school.
The children do not need to bring a packed lunch as this will be provided by the school. This will include a sandwich, biscuit and a piece of fruit. The only thing that your child will need to bring is a named water bottle in a throw away plastic bottle.
The minibus will leave promptly so please can we ask that you arrive on time for school. We cannot wait for any late arrivals. We will be returning to school for usual pick up time so please pick your child up at the usual time.
Parent helpers will be needed to assist supervising the children on the day. There are a limited number of spaces on the minibus and so we will require some parent helpers to drive themselves to the location. If you are available to help/drive yourself please indicate on the reply slip and your child’s class teacher will contact you if your help is required.
